Rio is the youngest member of our family. At just 5 years old, everything around him is a new adventure! He loves asking humans for hugs and is truly the definition of a gentle giant. He came to us from an Amish family who used him to help with chores and ride down the road bareback between farms.

Henry is the newest member of our family. We are so excited to have a horse small enough to travel in the car with us to visit schools! We adopted him from Pony Tales Refuge and Rehab after his owner became too old to care for him. Henry is 25 years old and is spending his golden retirement years being pampered and making us smile at Wild Dreams Ranch.

Henry is a grey miniature horse.

Treasure is our resident gym coach and class clown. He loves to run and play with his herd mates. He is approximately 15 years old and is blind in his left eye. We adopted him from Pony Tales Refuge and Rehab. When he arrived, he had very little training or trust in humans. Now he is often the first to greet friends at the gate.

At 18-20 years old, Maverick is our oldest full-sized member of our herd. Based on his extensive knowledge we think he spent time as a cattle and trail horse. After being sold at auction, he ended up in a lesson program at a large barn in Minnesota which is where we adopted him from. His favorite activity is being brushed and he often falls asleep during it!

Maverick is a bay quarter horse.

We adopted Moon from Pony Tales Refuge and Rehab. Because he has the remainder of a racing tattoo, we were able to find his birth papers, history, and lineage! He was a successful racehorse before slipping through the cracks and ending up at auction. He is 14 years old. It has been a privilege to help him gain back his strength, confidence, and trust in humans.

Moon is a dark bay thoroughbred.

Every once in a while the pups come out to say hello! Millie is a 5 year old chocolate lab who weighs in at a solid 105 pounds! She loves to swim in the pond. Teddy is a 2 year old miniature golden-doodle who thinks he is either a herding dog or a cat depending on the day.
